U.S. Department of Justice goes after sports betting law

NEW JERSEY -- The US Justice Department are the latest to legally challenge New Jersey sports betting law, according to Star-Ledger reports.

The Justice Department has filed papers in Trenton, the report said.

Other legal challenges to New Jersey's sports betting legislation have been filed by the NCAA, NHL, NBA, NFL, and others citing "irreparably harm" amateur and professional sports, the Star-Ledger reported.
