LONDON, England -- A British casino has prevailed in a court battle with a gambling addict, the BBC reported.
Nora Al-Daher gambled £2m in one evening and claimed the Ritz Casino should have prevented her from gambling, the report said.
The High Court disagreed and found in favour of the casino, the BBC said.
Al-Daher, who is the wife of the foreign minister of Oman, owed the casino £1m, the report made note.
