KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Valley Forge Casino Resort will host its first Guinness Beer Dinner at Valley Tavern from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 16.
“Our first Guinness Beer Dinner is the perfect kickoff to the many special dining experiences we have in store for our guests,” said Vice President of Food and Beverage Martin Doyle. “With 15 beers on tap, this dinner is only scratching the surface of everything we have to offer here at Valley Tavern.”
The event features a four-course meal served with samplings of Guinness-brand beers. Courses include:
· First course: Sweet pea risotto and Smithwick's;
· Second course: Herb-crusted wild salmon and Harp;
· Third course: Bacon-wrapped Angus tenderloin and Guinness; and
· Fourth course: Toffee caramel cheesecake and Black Lager.
With touches of classic Old-World décor combined with a New-World warm and friendly atmosphere, Valley Tavern is the perfect spot to grab a pint of one of several beers on tap. The menu includes an array of comfort food dishes, such as shepherd’s pie and fish and chips. The tavern features live music on select nights.
The cost is $55 per person and reservations are required.
