West Valley Casino breaks ground finally

GLENDALE, Arizona -- West Valley Resort and Casino finally broke ground yesterday after a plethora of lawsuits and opposition, the Tucson Sentinel reported.

The casino, operated by the Tohono O'odham Nation will create 3,000 jobs and estimated revenue of $300 million a year, the report said.

The resort will cost $400 million, the Tucson Sentinel said.
