Bally’s Shreveport to celebrate 25th anniversary in 2025

Since its grand opening as Hollywood Casino on 20 December 2000, the property has undergone several transformations, each contributing to its legacy in the Shreveport community.

The journey began on February 25, 2000, when tugboats guided the riverboat through the Red River’s obstacle course, setting the stage for what would become a beloved entertainment destination. Following its grand opening, the property rebranded from Hollywood Casino to Eldorado in July 2005, reflecting a new era of growth and development.

In December 2020, Twin River Worldwide Holdings, now known as Bally’s Corporation, acquired the property, paving the way for further enhancements and a renewed commitment to excellence. The rebranding of Bally’s Shreveport in November 2021 marked a new chapter, aligning the property with the Bally’s brand known for its dedication to providing exceptional gaming and entertainment experiences.

As Bally’s Shreveport approaches its 25th anniversary in 2025, the property is poised to celebrate its legacy while looking forward to the future. The anniversary will not only honor the history of the property but also highlight its ongoing commitment to the community and its guests.

- January Promotion: Celebrations kick off with a $250,000 Pick Your Ride promotion in January. Drawings will take place every Saturday, 4 January to 29 March 2025. Earn entries starting 29 December 2024, and activate them at kiosks from 2–8:45 PM. Drawings run 6–9 PM, with 25 winners each week. On 29 March, 24 guests win $500, and one wins a $60,000 vehicle or $40,000 cash. Must be present to win.
