BOSSIER CITY, Louisiana -- Bossier Parish voters gave the thumbs up to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Casino on Saturday at the polls, The Shreveport Times reported.

The riverboat expansion ballot was approved by 61 percent, the report said.

The $195 million project is planned to open May 2013 and will feature an incredible 18-story casino resort, according to the Shreveport Times.
