Remington Park hosts Extreme Racing for Charity
12 April 2025(PRESS RELEASE) -- This Sunday, camels, ostriches, zebras and Clydesdales invade Remington Park Racetrack Casino for Extreme Racing for Charity.
Extreme Racing features exotic animal races in between the horse races on the day’s live racing card. Each of the exotic animals is paired with an RP Charities nonprofit partner to raise money to further their missions. Nonprofits also have booths located inside on the Track level, offering information about the services they provide.
Fans can see the animals up close and take pictures throughout the day on Plaza South. Local food trucks will be at Remington Park during the festivities.
Extreme Racing, which is free and open to all ages, starts following the first race. Here’s the schedule:
- Clydesdales race after Race No. 1
- Zebras race after Race No. 2
- Ostriches race after Race No. 4
- Camels race after Race No. 6
- Flying Pig Races will take place on their own track, located just north of the Plaza throughout the day.
