'Shuffle Up and Deal' set for 2024 WSOP

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Following a record-breaking summer in 2023, the 2024 World Series of Poker will get underway in style, as Jonathan Marchessault of the Vegas Golden Knights will deliver the opening “Shuffle Up and Deal” to begin the 55th edition of the series on 28 May. Marchessault, one of Vegas’ most popular champions and original VGK Misfit, will kick off the WSOP’s new Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout event before sitting down to play in what will be his first WSOP event.

Following his opening remarks and the SUAD, Marchessault will be available for a scrum of media interviews before playing in Event #1: Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout.
