Think you know what you're being charged for? From the time you arrive to the time you leave, Las Vegas hidden fees can add up quickly and take a serious bite out of your vacation. Guests are being fleeced a dollar at a time all over town, and most don't even realize how much they are paying in these additional fees.

No one likes sucker punch. Yet every time we turn around there seems to be another new Las Vegas fee that you won’t see coming. Sure, most people who travel to Sin City these days are aware of the bait and switch tactics of Resort Fees, but this new one is more difficult to spot… and many believe is a slap in the face to many loyal customers. When you book your hotel room, many people use a travel site or go directly to the resort website. However, there are still a few folks out there who prefer speaking directly to an agent on the phone. Usually it’s the older folks, but not always. Well now, MGM Resorts is punishing their customers for that luxury.

You may want to take a few moments to check your bill for some extra Las Vegas charges next time you visit. I mean, most of us know they tack on fees for taxi rides to and from the airport. And of course, most of us know about the bait and switch tactics of Resort Fees. But now, things are getting a little out of control. First there’s the new Concession and Franchise Fee, which you may see listed as “CNF” when you get your bill at some restaurants. What the hell is this? Typically it’s a three to five percent addition to your total with no explanation.
