(PRESS RELEASE) -- Vegas Infinite, presented by PokerStars, is now available on mobile in a first for the free-to-play social casino video game. Available now in Early Access for Google Android devices, Vegas Infinite is free to download and free to play from the Google Play Store for players aged 18 or over.
Vegas Infinite first launched in 2018 as a groundbreaking virtual reality experience and last year added a new version for players on PC, with no headset required, in one of the biggest updates in the game’s history.
Launching on mobile is yet another huge step towards making the game more accessible to everyone, ensuring players are just a tap away from the action, adventure and Vegas Infinite community, wherever they are.
Players can leap into the game’s breathtaking environments direct from their Android mobile devices, and experience authentic cash and tournament poker, blackjack, roulette, craps, slots and more, with an endless supply of customisable props and items to choose from.
Together, the game’s developers at Lucky VR and PokerStars’ Disruptive Innovation team have rebuilt the experience from the ground up. Using a custom user-interface optimised for mobile, players can navigate its environments and games freely in over-the-shoulder and bird’s eye view, as well as interact with props, peek at their cards, handle chips, and shake and toss the dice at the craps table, all while chatting to friends and fellow players in real time just as they would in the real world.
Fans of the game will also notice another first with the introduction of a brand-new avatar system developed exclusively for Vegas Infinite, bringing unprecedented options for customisation, and giving players the chance to truly represent their individuality and style at the tables. While in Early Access, players will initially choose from 30 custom-designed characters, with plans for the Vegas Infinite avatar system to evolve heavily over the year as its feature set is expanded and enhanced.
“Vegas Infinite stands apart for the quality of our environments, the authenticity of our games, and the participation of our community, so we had already set ourselves a very high bar”, said James O’Reilly, PokerStars Director of VR and Innovation. “Even today, after months in development, I’m astonished to see the game come to life for mobile. This is more than a simple mirroring of our PC version. We’ve rebuilt Vegas Infinite so that it’s easy and intuitive to play on an Android device, without losing any of the richness and variety of experience our players expect. It’s a huge achievement from the team and I can’t wait to share it.”
Vegas Infinite for mobile is free to download for Android at the Google Play Store, here. All players receive a 30,000 Chip Welcome Bonus as well as free Chips every 8 hours, plus Creds for gameplay, which are used to equip from hundreds of interactive accessories and apparel in game.
Using their Vegas Infinite account, mobile players can also save their progress across Meta Quest and Steam VR and PC.
Vegas Infinite uses Tox Mod, an AI live chat monitoring tool, to assist its dedicated moderation team. Players also have access to a range of in-game safety tools including the option to take time out from games, set spending limits, issue player reports, and customize the extent of their interaction with others in-game.
