World Series of Poker returns to Turning Stone in March
10 February 2025(PRESS RELEASE) -- The World Series of Poker, the world’s largest, longest-running and most prestigious gaming event, will return to Turning Stone Resort Casino from 13-24 March with bigger payouts, bigger excitement and a chance to go all the way to the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas this summer.
As New York State’s only WSOP event for the fourth consecutive year, Turning Stone’s WSOP Circuit Event will offer a record-breaking $2.6 million guaranteed total payout for 2025 with actual cash prizes anticipated to demolish last year’s historic $6.2 million overall payout. In addition to massive cash prizes, players travel to the resort from dozens of states and Canada for a chance to bring home a WSOP gold ring, one of the most coveted trophies in gaming.
This year 18 WSOP gold rings are up for grabs, including one that will be awarded at Turning Stone’s 3-day $1 Million Main Event. The Main Event winner will walk away with the Circuit Event’s top cash prize, a gold ring and a $10,000 seat at the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas this summer. Additionally, each WSOP gold ring winner will receive a free entry to the WSOP $1 Million Free Roll Tournament in Las Vegas for an additional chance to win a $10,000 Main Event seat.
In addition to the 3-day $1 Million Main Event at Turning Stone, the resort’s Poker Room will also host a 2-day Mini Main Event with a $500,000 guarantee, as well as a number of returning fan-favorite events, including:
- Ladies-Only Event with a $25,000 guarantee
- 2-day Monster Stack Tournament with a $200,000 guarantee
- Two Seniors Events, each with a $100,000 guarantee
