(PRESS RELEASE) -- With over $8.5 million in prize money available, WPT Global is proud to run a major MTT festival during the pinnacle time of online poker this fall.
Starting on Sunday, 8 September, we will have three weeks of juicy action every day, including a wider and varied tournament schedule for every type of player. The Fall Festival will hold events including Mystery Bounties, Progressive Knockouts (PKOs), Bounty Builders, SuperStack and even major WPT Championship events.
The overall schedule will feature over 40 Mystery Bounty events, the red-hot popular MTT format that can give a life-changing prize to someone for a single KO. The weekly majors $110 Sunday Slam and $330 Grand Slam have even been changed into Mystery Bounties to accommodate for the demand.
There will be over 70 PKO events with guarantees ranging from $30,000 to $500,000, the biggest being the $220 Fall Festival Championship $500,000 GTD. There’s also micro and mini events for players wanting to get in the action on a limited bankroll, as the $5.50 Bounty Builder and $11 Mini Slam Mystery Bounty are perfect events for lower stakes grinders.
There’s a $530 SuperStack event which should attract players who enjoy the deep stack poker experience and battling in bigger pots. The $1,060 WPT Prime event has multiple Day 1s running throughout and gives players a chance to get their hands on World Poker Tour silverware.
For the high stakes and prestige-seekers, there will be a $3,500 WPT Championship event with a $1 million guarantee, which will have Day 1 flights running until the final day on Monday September 30.
