(PRESS RELEASE) -- As professional baseball enters its midsummer break, Circa Sports – a leading authority in sports betting – has released updated markets for the remainder of the season, including championships, award and league leaders.
Los Angeles (N) and New York (A) remain the favorites from the beginning of the season. Milwaukee has made one of the biggest jumps since Spring Training, moving from +3200 in February to the third favorite at +950 heading into the break. Seattle, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay are the next teams considered most likely to win the title.

Shohei Ohtani is -1400 to win MVP and Jacob Misiorowski is -515 to win Cy Young. However, the AL races are much closer. Yordan Alvarez is considered odds-on to win the award, at -175, however, Junior Caminero and Bobby Witt Jr are close behind at +400 and +460, respectively

Like the NL Cy Young award, Jacob Misiorowski is running away with the market to throw the most regular season strikeouts. He’s -415 to finish with the most strikeouts in baseball. The most regular season home runs is far more open. Kyle Schwarber, who currently leads the league with 32 home runs, is +150 to finish with the most. Yordan Alvarez, Junior Caminero and Ben Rice all have odds of +950 or shorter.

Finally, two of the most disappointing players in baseball this season have been Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Fernando Tatis Jr. The two sluggers have 6 and 5 home runs, respectively, and have not been anywhere close to the MVP-caliber players they have been in the past.
