FanDuel renews NFL partnership for the 2026 season

9 September 2026

(PRESS RELEASE) -- FanDuel has renewed its status as an Official Sports Betting Parter of the National Football League in a new multiyear agreement, extending a relationship between the two organizations that began in 2021.

The renewal, confirmed Thursday, 27 August, keeps FanDuel among the NFL's official sports betting partners heading into the 2026 season. Under the terms of the deal, FanDuel retains the ability to advertise during live NFL games and use NFL marks in marketing. The two organizations will also continue to collaborate on sports betting integrity and support the NFL’s responsible gambling initiatives.

FanDuel and the NFL have also partnered on community impact initiatives, including a sweepstakes supporting NFL’s Crucial Catch, which works with the American Cancer Society to expand access to early cancer detection and treatment.

FanDuel president Christian Genetski credited the partnership with helping build a regulated, integrity-focused sports betting market over the last five years and said the two organizations plan to keep finding new ways for fans to engage with the game.

The renewal comes as part of a wider round of NFL sportsbook announcements. For FanDuel, the multiyear term provides continuity through football's biggest moments, including NFL Kickoff, Super Bowl, and NFL Draft, integrations across NFL-owned digital media properties, and continued access to real-time data feeds such as Next Gen Stats and BetVision through the league's exclusive data partner, Genius Sports.

The deal lands as the sports betting market heads into its highest-volume stretch of the year. Americans wagered an estimated $30 billion on the 2025 NFL season, according to the American Gaming Association, and NFL games remain the single biggest driver of betting activity on the U.S. calendar. The 2026 season kicks off September 9, with defending champion Seattle hosting New England in a Super Bowl LX rematch.
