Mark Twain Casino to celebrate 25th anniversary throughout July

(PRESS RELEASE) -- To commemorate its 25th anniversary, Mark Twain Casino will host a monthlong celebration throughout July featuring special events, giveaways, entertainment and community festivities. The celebration begins 3 July with a ribbon-cutting ceremony honoring seven employees who have been with the property since opening day and continues throughout the month with fireworks, promotions and live entertainment.

The 25th anniversary events will include the following:

- 3 July – 25th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting and Honoring of Day-One Employees: Join Mark Twain Casino’s Vice President and General Manager Ryan Lounsbury for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially kick off the 25th anniversary celebration at 10:30 a.m. During the ceremony, seven day-one employees will be honored for their 25 years of service at Mark Twain Casino. Attendees can enjoy free cupcakes to mark the occasion at 11 a.m., along with earning 25 points for a free T-shirt (one shirt per player during the promotion).
- 4 July – LaGrange 4th of July Parade: Ring in America’s 250th birthday with the LaGrange 4th of July Parade at 4:30 p.m. Additionally, players can earn 25 points for a free t-shirt (one shirt per player during the promotion).
- 25 July – Mark Twain Casino’s 25th Anniversary: The property will light up the Missouri sky with fireworks for its official anniversary at 9:30 p.m. Prior to the show, guests can grab a free cupcake at noon and 6 p.m. while supplies last.
- 11, 18 and 25 July – 25 Years of Winning Cash Drawing: Guests can enter Mark Twain Casino’s “25 Years of Winning Cash” drawing on select Saturdays throughout July. Drawing winners will be selected 11, 18 and 25 July. Participants can enter daily and receive 25x entries every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The drawings will run from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with one winner receiving $250 cash every 15 minutes. At 9 p.m., all names will go back into the drawing and one $2,500 winner will be selected.
- 17 July and 25 July – Live Entertainment at Fireside Sports Bar & Grill: On Friday, 17 July from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., singer-songwriter Allie Crummy will take the stage at Fireside Sports Bar & Grill. Then, on Saturday, 25 July, guests can enjoy the sounds of musical duo Kathy & Spencer from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- 31 July and 1 August – $25,000 Cash Giveaway: One lucky winner will score big and take home $1,000 cash during this giveaway. Prize recipients will be picked every 15 minutes until 7 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., all names go back in for a final drawing to win $2,500.
- Every Thursday in July – Fireside Grill Surf & Turf Special: Diners can indulge in a $25 shrimp and steak special every Thursday in July from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the bar area of Mark Twain Casino’s sports bar, Fireside Sports Bar & Grill.
