PlayUZU becomes new official sponsor of Club Cienciano del Cusco

The partnership arrives in a landmark year for Cienciano, which celebrated 125 years of history in July 2026. Founded in 1901 in Cusco, the club remains the only Peruvian institution to have won international silverware, having lifted the Copa Sudamericana in 2003 and the Recopa Sudamericana in 2004 against Boca Juniors, a legacy that has earned it the affectionate nickname "Cienciano, el Papá". For PlayUZU, aligning with a club of this stature reinforces its strategy of building long-term, locally rooted partnerships in the Latin American markets where it operates.
