Rio Hotel and Casino becomes the home of the Desert Degens
9 October 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rio Hotel & Casino is proud to become the home of the Desert Degens, welcoming gaming creators Mike and Ryan for regular filming, special events and opportunities to connect with their community.
Guests can catch the Desert Degens filming on the casino floor on Tuesdays and Sundays. The relationship will also bring the Degen Nation together at Rio Hotel & Casino for special events, group pulls, live slot play and promotions throughout the year.
“Rio is excited to welcome the Desert Degens and their community,” said Vincent Lentini, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Rio Hotel & Casino. “Their energy and enthusiasm are a natural fit for the experience we are creating here. We look forward to serving as their Las Vegas home and hosting memorable events for the Degen Nation.”
The partnership will be celebrated at the Desert Degens’ second-year anniversary party on 9 January 2027, at Rio Hotel & Casino. The full-day event will include a slot tournament with a $2,000 FrioPlay prize pool, with awards for the top 10 finishers; live slot play with Mike and Ryan onstage; an optional group pull; complimentary food and drinks; and a raffle featuring 10 prizes, including property stays, dining vouchers, show tickets and merchandise. The slot tournament is free to enter with a Rio player’s card, and raffle participants must be present to win.
